As the State of California’s official College and Career Planning Platform, CaliforniaColleges.edu is available, free of charge, to all eligible public K-12 school districts and is customized to advance college-going for California students. Tools and lessons on CaliforniaColleges.edu can be used in all settings to help students to explore their career interests, identify possible future careers, and the degrees or certificates that will prepare them to enter their chosen field. Students can then use the platform to search for colleges and universities offering those programs and launch applications to California Community Colleges, California State Universities, and the University of California. A comprehensive financial aid module helps students learn how to pay for college, and scaffolds their process of submitting their FAFSA or California Dream Act Application, all from a one-stop platform.

Attendees will walk away with
- An overview of the CaliforniaColleges.edu platform and how it can be used to support college readiness, a-g completion improvement, and the implementation of Universal FAFSA/CADAA (AB 469).
- Experience exploring CaliforniaColleges.edu from a student and/or educator perspective
- With a concrete understanding of ABCUSD's vision for the integration of CaliforniaColleges.edu
