In this two-hour training, participants will learn to effectively use AVID Professional Learning Modules while modeling AVID’s core practices and maintaining its standards of excellence. The training emphasizes understanding adult learners and applying the “frontload, immerse, debrief, & apply” framework to create impactful learning experiences. By the end of the module, participants will have full access to the APLMs and will begin to develop an AVID PL plan for their site This session is for AVID Site Coordinators (Elementary & Secondary) as well as site AVID Champions (i.e., AVID Elective teachers, any teachers and site administrators at AVID sites who want to further hone their skills for professional learning).
